Gut Restart is used to improve the digestive function of the gut through detoxification. Toxins in the gut can be caused by undigested food remaining in the gut, rotting and fermenting.
The digestion process slows down and such food remains in the intestine for a longer period of time. In Ayurveda, this principle is known as AAM DOSH.
The toxins that result from this process impair the absorption of nutrients from food and change the intestinal bacteria into those that favour acidic conditions.
Toxins can also enter the bloodstream and lymphatic system through the intestines and prevent them from functioning properly.
It is effective in emptying the cecum and the intestines of fermenting foods, which can cause problems with flatulence and product efficacy.
